Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Highway Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods across various routes, Including CANADA/US border crossing. Ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high safety and operational standards. This role offers an opportunity to work with heavy equipment and develop expertise in freight handling and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues

Requirements





- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other industrial machinery is preferred
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety checks
- Physical ability to lift, load, or unload freight, including heavy or bulky items
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to work independently while adhering to strict safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.34-$32.29 per hour
