About SER, Job Requirements & Certifications, Responsibilities & More Details:

SER is currently looking for skilled and enthusiastic personnel to work on our fleet of research and survey vessels primarily as the on board cook for the vessel(s).

Minimum Required Qualifications/Transport Canada Certifications:

- General interest in boating and working on the water
- Transport Canada Marine Emergency Duties (MEDA3) Certificate

Ideal Qualifications:

- Previous marine experience i.e. - working as a cook and deckhand on other vessels

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

- On-deck duties (general deckhand duties)
- Primarily Galley duties including meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning for a crew of varying size

Wages: Vary depending on experience and qualifications as well as project type.

Job Start/Availability: Project dependent
