We are currently accepting applications for Casual Educational Assistants in all our school communities. These positions are on-call and as-needed, offering a flexible opportunity to support students and staff across our schools.

As a Casual Educational Assistant, you will work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support the instructional, behavioural, and social development of students. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while gaining valuable experience in an inclusive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support students' academic, behavioural, and social-emotional needs under the direction of the classroom teacher.
- Assist with the implementation of individualized programs and support plans.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Promote and facilitate positive interactions among students, staff, and the wider school community.
- Support students in the development of communication and language skills.




- Monitor student behaviour and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff.

Qualifications:

- A Certificate or diploma in Educational Assistant or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution is preferred.
- Experience working with children or youth in an educational or support capacity is an asset.
- Ability to build positive and professional relationships with students and staff.
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to student safety, dignity, and inclusion.
