We are currently seeking reliable, safety-focused Production Workers to join our team in Saskatoon. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable performing physical tasks while following established safety procedures.
What You'll Do
As a Production Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Packaging product by placing bags into boxes
- Strapping and securing boxes for shipment
- Stacking bags and boxes onto racks and pallets
- Performing repetitive production line tasks
- Completing production and shift documentation accurately
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Monitoring quality standards and reporting concerns
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Assisting with troubleshooting and problem-solving as required
- Supporting team goals for safety, quality, and productivity
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- High School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to follow written procedures and safety instructions
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Must be comfortable climbing stairs and ladders when required
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts
- Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, as public transportation is limited
- Must be clean-shaven and able to wear a respirator as required
- Comfortable working around hazardous chemicals (training and PPE provided)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience
- Forklift experience or certification (training may be provided)
- Experience working in a safety-focused industrial environment
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting
- Repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
- Ability to safely wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
