Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Utility Locator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately identifying and marking underground utility lines to ensure safe excavation and construction activities. Your expertise will help prevent costly damages, protect public safety, and support productive project execution. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment and technical tools in a fast-paced setting, contributing to infrastructure development and community safety.

Responsibilities

- Utilize advanced locating equipment to precisely identify underground utilities such as electrical lines, gas lines, and telecommunications cables.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and field crews to communicate utility locations clearly and effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of utility locations, markings, and any discrepancies encountered during operations.

Skills

- Must have a valid clean driver's license




- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring safety compliance on-site.
- Excellent computer skills in operating Microsoft Excel, other computer programs & emails.
- Oilfield training and certificates are a great asset but not required.
- Prior knowledge on Vivax Metrotech, RD, Utility locating machines

Job Location Coverage Area

High Level, La Crete, Fort Vermilion, Rainbow lake, Zama City, Dene Tha Nation, Little Red River Nation, Beaver Nation, Paddle Prairie, Keg River, Rocky Lane, Tall Cree Nation and surrounding areas.
