Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Woman to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work. This role involves executing complex projects with precision, interpreting schematics and blueprints, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship across diverse construction tasks. The Journeyman/Woman will be responsible for leading projects, mentoring apprentices, and maintaining safety standards on-site to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project execution.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and tile laying with accuracy and efficiency.
- Install cabinetry, siding, roofing, flooring, and siding materials according to project specifications.
- Conduct restoration projects including surface preparation and finishing techniques.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Execute carpentry tasks such as framing, woodwork, drywall installation, and custom woodworking projects.
- Handle plumbing and electrical installations or repairs as required by project scope.
- Apply construction estimating skills to assess project needs and materials.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment; ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.
- Provide mentorship to apprentices or less experienced workers on-site.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Extensive experience in concrete forming, masonry, tile laying, siding installation, roofing, and flooring installation.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other construction equipment.
- Solid knowledge of carpentry techniques including framing, cabinetry installation, woodworking, and assembly.
- Electrical experience including wiring or troubleshooting is preferred; plumbing skills are a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically capable of working in various conditions for extended periods.
- Familiarity with restoration processes and caulking techniques for finishing work.
- Excellent understanding of construction safety standards and protocols.

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
