We are seeking a agile and detail-oriented Field Coordinator with a Civil Engineering background to join our team and drive excellence in multiple high rise construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations, ensuring work progresses according to project plans and schedules
- Conduct thorough construction inspections to verify compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards
- Collect and analyze data related to site progress, material usage, and safety incidents to inform decision-making
- Perform quality control checks throughout the construction process to identify and address issues promptly
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve on-site challenges
- Document site activities through detailed reports, photos, and inspection logs for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on processes, safety practices, and quality measures
Skills
- Strong analysis skills to interpret data, identify trends,
and recommend improvements
- Construction experience with a solid understanding of building processes and site operations
- Expertise in quality control and inspection techniques to ensure high standards are maintained
- Proficiency in data collection methods relevant to construction projects
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination among diverse teams
- Ability to perform construction inspections with attention to detail and safety awareness
- Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to adapt quickly to changing site conditions
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- WHMIS
- Working at Heights
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
