Job Description:
As a Housekeeper, you will assist the facility aiming at excellence in the housekeeping services. You will work closely with the care team to help create a positive experience for our residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and has a passion for contributing to the well-being of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe,
and hygienic environment in resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms.
- Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces, floors, and furniture.
- Follow infection control protocols to minimize risks to residents and staff.
- Ensure cleanliness of dining rooms, kitchens, and staff areas.
- Assist with setting up rooms for current residents and maintaining a comfortable living space.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeper experience, preferably in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
- WHIMIS certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Negative TB test result.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform light lifting and physical tasks.
- Ability to follow safety protocols in cleaning.
Pay: From $24.84 per hour
