Description:
Safety Inspectors will be responsible for compiling objective evidence by reviewing
documentation, observing activities, performing audits, surveillance and investigations to
determine whether individuals are conducting business in accordance with regulations and
established policies and procedures. Safety Inspectors also provide direction and
recommendations for the resolution of matters of non-conformance.

They engage primarily in the following types of assignments: (not limited to):

(a) Evaluating technicians and the repair facility for continuing accuracy;
(b) Challenging technicians and inspectors, that they are following established policies
and procedures.

What you will be responsible for:

- Ensure all personnel comply with current TCCA Policies and Procedures
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and positive customer

service attitude without compromising quality

- Ensure maintenance personnel use approved or accepted data issued by the

manufacturer, TCCA, and/ or Customer

- Ensure adequate inspection aids, special tools and equipment are available, and

maintained in a serviceable condition





- Conduct WIP audits
- Other duties as assigned

What you will need to be successful in this role:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Five (5) years hands-on Aircraft Maintenance experience or five (5) years specialized

experience in a related aviation field
- Familiar with TCCA regulations
- Formal Quality Assurance/ auditing training preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Power Point
- Be able to analyze information and utilize problem solving skills
- Able to interface in a pleasant and professional manner with all departments, level of

management, customers, and vendors

- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Physical Demands/ Work Workplace:
The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative
of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this
job.

- Shift Work (must be willing to work irregular schedule when required)
- Office and Hangar Floor Environment
- May be exposed to high level of noise, dust, vibration and chemical fumes
- Able to climb ladders and platforms occasionally attaining heights of various aircraft

types
