- Develop a strong positive rapport with all vendors in order to become the main contact.
- Negotiate with vendors for the benefit of Viva Pharmaceutical Inc.’s profitability.
- Work with vendors to ensure product availability, establish confirmed delivery schedules, resolve pricing issues, and solve other vendor related issues before the issue escalates.
- Study the full product lines, becoming an expert in product knowledge.
- Seek out new products that will help increase the company’s profitability.
- Work with VP-Sales to keep up-to-date on the trends and the needs of the company when making buying decisions.
- Work in compliance with the corporate SOP and legal regulations.
- Participate in industry conventions, trade show exhibits, and related promotional activities.
- Performs other duties as requested by senior management.
Preferred Qualifications and/or Experiences:
-Proven history in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Proven experience in inventory management or related roles
- Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with inventory management software and purchasing systems.
-Familiarity with the regulatory requirements for manufacturing/ packaging of pharmaceutical/ nutraceutical products would be considered an asset.
