Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packer to join our manufacturing and warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently packaging products, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a secure and organized work environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing, assembly, and warehouse operations within a dynamic team setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare products for shipment by accurately packaging items according to specifications
- Inspect finished goods for quality and proper labeling before packing
- Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment to assist with packaging processes
- Utilize forklift or other warehouse equipment to move materials as needed
- Assist with assembly tasks when required, ensuring components are correctly assembled before packaging
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries




- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments preferred
- Knowledge of packaging processes and materials used in manufacturing settings
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools beneficial
- Experience operating forklifts or similar warehouse equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
