Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Prep/Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and ready for our chefs to create delicious dishes additionally executing on line during lunch service. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality will help maintain the high standards of our restaurant.

Duties

- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Cooking on line during lunch service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.




- Participate in daily kitchen clean-up and maintenance tasks.

Experience

- Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential for maintaining a protected kitchen environment.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced restaurant setting is highly valued.
