Nucor Environmental Solutions Ltd. is looking for energetic, motivated and career-minded Asbestos abatement workers for demolition and abatement work on jobsites throughout the Edmonton area.
Through the regular course of job duties, the abatement worker will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools, and various forms of machinery relating to the construction industry. Responsibilities will include the cleaning and preparation of work-sites, cleaning up rubble and debris, performing soft demo and removal of waste materials. Successful candidates must be able to safely lift 30 pound bags.
Requirements:
Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. Successful candidates must be clean-shaven. Individuals must have their own CSA-approved steel-toed boots, all other PPE is provided.
All duties of the abatement labourer are to be performed according to NES’s operating procedures and OH&S; Regulations in order to maximize the safety of all personnel at the work site and to efficiently perform the task.
Abatement/construction experience is preferred, but training is provided and experience is not mandatory.
