Marine Service Advisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring high customer service standards, managing the service team, and maintaining efficient workflow processes. This role is critical to delivering high-quality service, resolving customer concerns, and supporting the team in achieving performance goals. The position also includes parts and warranty administration responsibilities.Key Responsibilities

- Team Management: Supervise and support service technicians and staff to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services.
- Customer Relations: Manage customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee scheduling, inventory, and resource allocation to maintain smooth service operations.
- Performance Monitoring: Track team performance metrics and implement improvements when needed.
- Training & Development: Train current hires and provide ongoing development to ensure staff remain current on procedures, systems, and product knowledge.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety standards,



and service procedures.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports for senior management on service performance, customer feedback, and team progress.
- Parts and Warranty Administration: Manage parts ordering, tracking, inventory coordination, and warranty claim processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

- Proven experience in a service management or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic technical understanding of marine services and products

Preferred Skills

- Previous experience in the marine industry
- Knowledge of service management software and scheduling tools
- Ability to analyze and improve operational processes
- Experience with marine parts, service, and warranty administration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
