Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items. Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Follow food safety protocols during food handling and preparation to ensure quality and hygiene.
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner to foster a positive experience.

Requirements

- Previous barista experience preferred, with knowledge of food service operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in the food industry is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
