Automotive Technician (All Experience Levels)

Location: Lumby, BC

We're looking for motivated Automotive Technicians to join our growing team in Lumby, BC. All experience levels are encouraged to apply, from entry-level technicians to experienced journeypersons. We are especially interested in experienced technicians capable of performing major mechanical repairs, including engine, transmission, and drivetrain work.

What We Offer

- $25.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 1-hour lunch break (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
- Coveralls provided

Responsibilities

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Oil and filter changes
- Tire mounting, balancing, and seasonal tire changes
- Brake inspections and repairs
- Steering and suspension diagnosis and repairs
- Perform engine, transmission, and drivetrain repairs (depending on experience)




- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements

- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence (required)
- Automotive repair experience (all experience levels welcome)
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and repair work, including oil changes, tire services, brakes, and steering/suspension repairs
- Experienced applicants should be capable of engine, transmission, and drivetrain diagnosis and repairs
- Own hand tools are preferred
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$25.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
