The Délı̨nę Got’ı̨nę Government is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist. Reporting to
the Director of Education, this role works with families, educators, and community
partners to help children build communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
● Assess and provide speech and language therapy, developing individualized
support plans for children and youth.
● Collaborate with families, educators, and community partners while providing
guidance and communication strategies.
● Maintain client records, prepare reports, and coordinate referrals services.
Qualifications & Skills
● Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility for Canadian
registration/licensure.
● Experience working with children and youth; Indigenous or community-based
experience is an asset.
● Strong communication,
organizational, and collaboration skills; Criminal Record
Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
Working Conditions
The role requires solid clinical judgment, attention to detail, collaboration with families and professionals, and the ability to manage multiple client needs while maintaining confidentiality.
