Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bread Baker to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food preparation, with a focus on creating high-quality bread products. The Bread Baker will be responsible for preparing, baking, and packaging various types of bread, ensuring all products meet our quality standards and food safety regulations.

Duties

- Prepare dough and ingredients according to recipes and specifications
- Mix, knead, proof, and bake bread products using commercial bakery equipment
- Decorate cakes and baked goods as needed, utilizing cake decorating skills
- Ensure all baked items are visually appealing and meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace
- Package finished products for sale or delivery, ensuring proper labeling and presentation
- Follow food safety protocols and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times




- Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and restocking supplies as necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient bakery operations and excellent customer service

Requirements

- Proven experience in baking, with knowledge of bread making techniques
- Experience in cake decorating is a plus
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling safety practices
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment used in baking processes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with customers or staff
- Familiarity with food safety standards and packaging procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
- Food industry experience is highly desirable for this role

Pay: $18.50-$25.75 per hour
