Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and attention to quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise team members during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations and food safety standards
- Assist in interviewing and onboarding new team members to build a strong, motivated staff
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial transactions
- Maintain cleanliness, organization,
and safety of the kitchen and dining areas at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within restaurants or hospitality environments
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting is highly preferred
- Robust knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms for order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Leadership abilities with experience managing teams and coordinating daily operations
- Previous restaurant management or hospitality experience is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
