Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in a professional, friendly manner.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions quickly and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity.
- Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers.
- Engage in upselling by recommending additional products or services that meet customer needs.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and appeal.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers without compromising quality.




- Use strong communication skills to explain product features, answer questions, and promote sales initiatives.
- Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting remote or phone-in customers.

Experience

- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling best practices is advantageous.
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency (especially in English plus other languages) are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases.
- Experience in merchandising, upselling, or technical sales—such as product demos—will help you excel in this role.
- Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication skills will enable you to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience in retail environments that require time management, phone etiquette, and customer engagement will set you up for success.
