Schedule & Pay

- Pay: $18.00/hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

We are currently hiring 5 General Labourers for an industrial manufacturing facility in Welland, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for long-term employment with the potential to be hired on permanently after 3 months.

This is a physically demanding position in a manufacturing environment with opportunities for growth and advancement for employees who demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform general labour duties in a rubber manufacturing environment
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Operate safely around production equipment and machinery
- Use hand tools and work with cutting knives as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with other production-related tasks as assigned

Working Conditions





- Hot industrial environment due to manufacturing equipment with a rubber smell.
- Regular breaks provided throughout the shift
- Industrial fans are used to improve worker comfort
- Refreshments such as Gatorade and popsicles are provided during warmer conditions
- Gloves and safety glasses are supplied by the employer
- CSA-approved safety shoes are required (must be provided by the employee)

Requirements

- Able to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in a warm manufacturing workplace
- Steel-toe/CSA-approved safety shoes are required
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety
- Looking for long-term employment with excellent attendance
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
