Fire Alarm Technician – Nova Scotia

What You'll Do

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you'll play a vital role in helping our customers maintain safe, code-compliant buildings.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual fire alarm inspections
- Inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing fire alarm systems
- Servicing fire extinguishers and emergency lighting systems
- Installing and maintaining ULC fire alarm monitoring equipment




- Completing electronic inspection reports and service documentation
- Building strong relationships with customers through exceptional service
- Participating in an after-hours on-call rotation

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving problems while providing outstanding customer service.

You have:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the fire protection industry
- Working knowledge of applicable fire codes and standards
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience using computers, tablets, and mobile applications
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- A valid Nova Scotia driver's license with a clean driving record
- Residency in Nova Scotia

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000–$65,000 per year (based on experience)

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Participation in an after-hours on-call rotation
