Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, performing manual labor, and supporting skilled tradespeople. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and basic knowledge of construction-related tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and develop a diverse skill set.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as framing, caulking, and demolition
- Support carpenters, plumbers, welders, and other tradespeople in office
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Perform tasks related to flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration projects
- Apply construction painting techniques as needed
- Aid in the installation of plumbing systems and other mechanical components
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment




- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each project

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools
- Prior construction experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of carpentry, blueprint reading, schematics, and construction painting is a plus
- Familiarity with caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, welding, and restoration work is advantageous
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills and attention to detail

This position provides valuable on-the-job training in various aspects of construction work. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and committed to maintaining safety standards on-site.

Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour
