Come join the MAPEI company as a Sales Representative for our Industrial Flooring division.
Under the responsibility of the Director of Sales (Central and Eastern Canada), the position holder fulfils the responsibilities linked to sales and representation of his territory.
Main duties and responsibilities :
- Is responsible of the territory growth, sales budget and business management of the designated territory consistent with corporation objectives through special presentations of current and new products on the market ;
- Is responsible for representing the company with various potential customers (distributors, consulting engineers, industrials, architects, installers) ;
- Is responsible for product training, communications with clients regarding technical matters on products, does complaint resolution and influences buying decisions of the customers ;
- Is responsible to present a written report to the management on the activities of the territory and provides market intelligence ;
- Does cold calls activities or market solicitation on a regular basis ;
- Responsible to provide company with feedback on field testing of recent or prototype formulas ;
- Participates in the development of new products with the Product Managers ;
- Does any other related tasks.
Skills required :
- Education: College Degree (CD) with 5 year experience in sales, customer service in a similar industry and environment.
- University degree, an asset
- Professional knowledge on Epoxy Coatings and Concrete Polyurethane Installation
- Languages Spoken and Written : English
- Valid driver's licence holder
- Office automation software : MS Office
- Good knowledge of industry standard
- Knowledge of MAPEI Products
