Job description

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding parts using MIG according to specifications and technical drawings.

Tasks

- Able to work independently.
- Qualification from the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB).
- Understanding of welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding defects.
- Ability to demonstrate welding to others.
- Basic machine adjustment.
- Basic machine maintenance.
- Capable of self-inspecting the quality of welds.
- Able to inspect the quality of others’ welds.
- Ability to weld according to the parameters defined in the drawings.

Required qualifications

- Understanding of technical drawings/reading plans.
- Understanding of welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding defects.




- Successfully passing the theoretical and practical examination.
- Must hold a diploma of vocational studies and/or have relevant experience related to the position.
- Capable of using and interpreting measuring instruments.
- Able to adjust welding parameters.
- Capable of safely handling parts and assemblies.
- Training and certification as a rigger.
