About the Role
The Breakfast Cook Supervisor is responsible for leading the morning kitchen team while preparing high-quality breakfast and brunch dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role combines hands-on cooking with kitchen supervision to ensure efficient operations, food quality, cleanliness, and excellent guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast and brunch menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Supervise and support the morning kitchen team during service.
- Coordinate food preparation to ensure timely ticket completion.
- Maintain consistent food quality and portion control.
- Open the kitchen and ensure all stations are fully stocked and ready for service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate items that need to be reordered.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health code standards.
- Train and mentor current kitchen staff.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and reported if maintenance is required.
- Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries,
and end-of-shift cleaning.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous breakfast or brunch cooking experience.
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant kitchen preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Food Safe Level 1 certification (preferred).
Schedule
- Morning shifts starting as early as 7:30 AM.
- Flexible scheduling available.
