Founded in 1983, Bishop Hamilton Montessori School is a Montessori Canada accredited, not for profit independent school offering a Christian Montessori education to over 200 students in the Ottawa area.

We are preparing for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year and are inviting interested candidates to submit their resume for possible positions in our Infant, Toddler and Casa programs.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide a caring and nurturing atmosphere in the classroom and throughout the school
· Plan and implement lesson plans
· Manage and guide individual student behaviour
· Maintain accurate records including long and short-term lesson plans, observations and student individual progress
· Conduct parent teacher conferences and prepare required written progress reports
Qualifications
· AMI or MACTE Montessori teacher training diploma
· A minimum of 3 years classroom experience
· Bachelor of education is an asset

· Effective classroom management and organizational skills
Required
· Current Vulnerable Screening Police Record check
· Current Standard First Aid / CPR-C certification
Pay: $58,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
