We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Welder to join our long standing manufacturing business of over 20+ years. In this vital role, you will be responsible for manufacturing, blueprint reading and all labour inclusive of completing a task. This is not a work station welding position. You will be working in a rewarding fast-paced environment that values safety and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute welding techniques to complete various tasks.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete welding tasks with precision.
- Ability to use all shop equipment - Shear, Brake, Press, Torch, etc.
- Collaborate with lead hands and project managers to ensure timely completion of welding work while adhering to safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a reliable welder.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience working with hand tools, power tools,
and all other shop equipment required to complete various tasks.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to electrical work in industrial environments.
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a police check

Pay: $28.85-$36.00 per hour
