Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to track all financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform account reconciliations regularly to verify the accuracy of financial data across bank statements and internal records.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and company books.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring employee wages are calculated correctly and paid on time.
- Analyze financial accounts to identify discrepancies, trends, or areas for improvement,



providing clear reports for management review.
- Support budgeting activities by preparing financial forecasts and monitoring expenses against budgets.

Requirements

- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation tasks.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account analysis and bank reconciliation.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Prior experience in retail or jewelry industry accounting is a plus but not required.
