The URM is a faith-based, Christian organization dedicated to supporting the homeless community. We are looking for someone who has a robust gifting in cleaning and fixing, coupled with a vibrant spiritual life in-tune with God’s heart for the people we serve and driven to produce results (fruit) that will benefit those we serve forever. This is an end of the day shift (4pm to 7pm or 5pm to 8pm) weekdays or weekdays and weekends. Position Requirements

- Maintain floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping them
- Empty and clean trash receptacles and collect recycling
- Clean, sanitize, tables and chairs
- Clean and supply washroom facilities
- Perform minor repairs on furniture, buildings, and equipment
- Ensure grounds areas are clean and orderly
- Be physically able to manage stairs and lifting up to 50 lbs




- Attention to detail and a love to see things sparkling clean!

Accountability

- Report to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

- High school diploma required
- Previous custodial and grounds experience preferred
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenance tasks
- Possess working knowledge of the methods, technique, and materials used in custodial work
- Familiar with operating, caring for, and storing custodial equipment and supplies

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
