JOB SUMMARY:

The Housekeeper is responsible for performing general housekeeping activities, adhering to established guidelines for health and safety, infection control, and quality management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Receive assignments, assemble the required materials and supplies, load the service cart, and transport it to the work area.

· Utilize specified cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing agents while following specific procedures, work patterns, and routines to perform tasks, including but not limited to:

· Cleaning resident rooms according to the assigned schedule.

· Sweeping and dry/wet mopping floors.

· Vacuuming and shampooing carpets.

· Spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors.





· Dusting and sanitizing/disinfecting furniture, shelves, woodwork, and other surfaces.

· Emptying wastebaskets.

· Daily cleaning and disinfecting of all bathroom floors, fixtures, walls, and replenishing supplies.

· Ensuring the privacy of residents during the performance of duties.

· Final cleaning of suites for new occupants.

· Organizing, changing, and washing linens.

· Cleaning and sanitizing common areas throughout the day, as required.

· Performing other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

· Willingness to learn.

· Ability to read and write in English and follow written instructions.

· Positive understanding of the use of chemicals and equipment.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff.th residents and staff.

SHIFT: Days

Pay: $18.98 per hour
