Duties
- Prepare ingredients according to restaurant specifications
- Assist in sushi and hot kitchen preparation
- Maintain quality and consistency of every dish
- Follow recipes and plating standards
- Properly handle premium seafood and seasonal ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance
- Monitor ingredient freshness and proper storage
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
- Support opening and closing kitchen duties
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team
- Contribute to a smooth and efficient omakase service
Skills
- Kitchen or restaurant experience
- Japanese cuisine experience preferred
- Basic knife skills
- Food Handler Certification
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
