Duties

- Assist the FOH manager in supervising daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Lead and motivate servers to deliver outstanding customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Coordinate food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of dishes
- Oversee food handling and safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Micros POS systems), and billing accuracy
- Support hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members to foster a cohesive team environment
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and repeat visits




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Enforce restaurant policies related to food preparation, serving standards, and hospitality excellence
- Assist in inventory management for FOH supplies, including barista equipment if applicable

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles
- Extensive food service experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling
- Strong leadership skills demonstrated through team management and staff development
- Background in hospitality or hotel industry is a plus
- Experience in serving, bartending or barista roles highly valued for versatile guest interaction skills
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including kitchen workflows, food handling procedures, and customer service best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview, train, and motivate staff effectively

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
