Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Utility / Fibre optic / telecom Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction tasks, support skilled tradespeople, and contribute to the successful completion of projects. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while working in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools needed for construction activities
- Placing civil materials and fibre
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, trenching, and moving materials
- Support skilled tradespeople by holding, lifting, or fetching tools and supplies
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
- Follow instructions from supervisors and ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately




- Assist with equipment operation and basic maintenance as needed
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and quality
- Valuable communication skills and ability to follow directions effectively
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.41-$29.51 per hour

Experience:

- Fiberoptic/telecom Construction: 1 year (preferred)
