We are seeking a dependable, caring Educational Assistant to join our team and provide classroom support in a variety of capacities. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in working with children, demonstrate patience and compassion, and be able to recognize and respond to the diverse needs of students in a supportive learning environment.
This is a full time, temporary position located at Berry Creek Community School, requiring 30 hours per week and commencing the first day of the 2026-2027 school year. This position has been created to support current staffing needs and will remain in place until the temporary requirement has been fulfilled.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the classroom teacher and school staff to provide additional support to students and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff are essential. The successful applicant will be expected to represent the school in a professional manner through their interactions with students, families, colleagues, and the broader school community. Previous experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced educational setting would be considered an asset.
