Mover / Driver (G License Required)

Location: Vaughan, ON

Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and professional Mover / Driver to join our team in Vaughan. This role is ideal for candidates with previous residential or commercial moving experience who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe handling and transportation of clients' belongings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a 16-foot moving truck, performing heavy lifting, and carefully packing, wrapping, loading, transporting, and unloading furniture and other household items.

Shift Details

Report Time: 8:45 AM

Truck Pickup: 9:00 AM

Shift Length: 6–9 hours

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a 16-foot moving truck.
- Load, unload, and transport furniture and household items.
- Wrap, pad, and protect furniture to prevent damage during transportation.
- Ensure the safe handling of clients' belongings and maintain the highest level of care at all times.
- Handle delicate and valuable items, including musical instruments such as pianos, with extreme care to avoid damage.




- Lift and move heavy furniture safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service throughout the move.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

- Valid Full G Driver's License.
- Previous professional moving experience.
- Experience driving a 16-foot moving truck.
- Comfortable performing heavy lifting throughout the day.
- Experience wrapping and protecting furniture for safe transportation.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A clean driving record is preferred.
- Piano moving experience is a strong asset.
