Job description

Cowichan Valley Volkswagen is preparing to open in Duncan, BC, and we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager/Finance Manager to join our leadership team.

This is a key position in a new Volkswagen dealership and will play an important role in helping build the sales department from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have strong automotive finance experience, proven sales leadership ability, and the flexibility to support both the business office and sales floor as the dealership grows.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be involved in the launch of a new dealership, help establish strong processes, and be part of a growing team from day one.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Desking deals and managing sales opportunities
- Train and support sales consultants
- Supporting the sales team with deal structure, pricing, customer follow-up, and closing
- Structuring and presenting finance and lease and cash options to customers
- Working with lenders to secure approvals and maximize customer options
- Selling protection products, warranties, insurance products, and related F&I; offerings
- Ensuring all finance paperwork, lender requirements, and compliance items are completed accurately
- Maintaining strong customer satisfaction throughout the purchase and delivery process
- Ensuring compliance with dealership, lender, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements
- Working closely with ownership and management as the new dealership ramps up operations

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

- Automotive Finance experience
- Sales management or senior sales experience in a dealership environment
- Strong understanding of automotive lending, leasing, warranties, and protection products




- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and paperwork accuracy
- Ability to coach, lead, and support sales staff
- Confidence working in a fast-paced dealership environment
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Valid VSA Salesperson Licence, or ability to obtain one
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record

Volkswagen experience would be considered an asset but is not required.
