Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook / Kitchen Staff member to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving food in a rapid-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling, with a passion for delivering excellent food service to our customers.

Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance




- Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies during food preparation and service
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely meal delivery

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Living in NL near Conception Bay South
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required

Pay: $16.50-$18.50 per hour
