Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with various tools and machinery, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Whether working on automotive repairs or industrial equipment, you will play a vital role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Benefits available after 3 months. Wage is dependent on experience

Duties

- Perform diagnostics and repairs on automobiles using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Utilize welding skills for metal repairs and fabrication as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics for electrical and mechanical systems to facilitate accurate repairs.
- Assist with assembly, disassembly, and replacement of vehicle or equipment components.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with industry regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and efficiently.




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, third or fourth year preferred but will consider candidates outside of that range as well.
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair, heavy equipment operation, welding, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and farm machinery is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge along with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work with industrial or heavy machinery safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Valid certifications or licenses related to heavy equipment operation or specialized machinery are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
