RECE & Montessori Teachers in the Toddler Room (16 months to 34 months)

Qualifications:

- Registered Early Childhood Education Diploma (RECE) and be in valuable standing with the college of ECE’s and/or Montessori Toddler Teaching Diploma (MACTE, AMI)
- Experience in a Montessori school setting is an asset
- Current negative Criminal Reference Check (VSC)
- First Aid and CPR
- Current Immunization

Skills Required:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Excellent written skills




- Possesses strong leadership and organizational skills

Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct the day-to- day operations of the classroom including, but not limited to: lesson instruction, classroom maintenance, daily recording, diapering, playground supervision, etc.
- Maintain a neat, well organized and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy
- Work to develop close and effective relationships with parents
- Provide a program that complies with Ministry of Education requirements for licensed
programming while incorporating Montessori Pedagogy
