We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Installer to support installation projects across various construction and renovation sites. This role involves assisting lead installers with a variety of tasks, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will possess basic technical skills, and be eager to learn and grow within the industry. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in multiple facets of stone installation work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with lifting and installation of Stone Countertops
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation tasks.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment on-site.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools and materials before installation begins.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to schematics or construction plans during installations.
- Support the team in adhering to project timelines and specifications.
- Drive to and from on site installations so a valid driver's license is a MUST
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction practices.
- Prior experience in stone installations is an asset but not required.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks within the construction environment.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
