Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing exceptional administrative support and assisting with patient care. This position requires familiarity with medical terminology, experience with electronic medical records, and proficiency in front desk operations within a medical office setting.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records
- Handle phone systems to answer inquiries, direct calls, and assist patients with their needs.
- Collect and verify patient information
- Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing examination rooms.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.




- Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a medical office setting is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience with phone systems and administrative tasks is highly desirable.
