Trade-Mark Industrial Inc. is a leading multi-trade contractor serving mostly South-Western Ontario, with project reach extending into several US states through our sister company. We operate across electrical, piping, mechanical, millwright, fabrication, machine shop, and sheet metal trades, with a purchasing team that supports both active projects and internal shop operations.

Position Summary

Looking to grow in procurement and work in a fast-moving, multi-trade setting? This role puts you at the center of day-to-day purchasing operations, giving you the experience and exposure to advance toward a Buyer position.

Main Responsibilities

- Source, price, and issue purchase orders for materials, supplies, tools, and equipment rentals across active projects
- Manage the full PO lifecycle: issuance, confirmations, follow-ups, and delivery tracking through to close
- Coordinate service and subcontract orders with project managers, including a clear scope of work and jobsite follow-up
- Resolve vendor invoice discrepancies promptly and accurately
- Support internal shops with order placement, stock replenishments, and rental coordination
- Develop and maintain a standard material pricing database to keep cost information current
- Collaborate with Buyers and cross-train to strengthen overall department capability




- Complete data entry tasks as needed: purchase order details, packing slip receipt in Eclipse, and database updates
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support team objectives.

Requirements

- Minimum of 4 years of professional purchasing experience, including at least 2 years specifically within the construction or skilled trades industry in Ontario
- Familiarity with local electrical, piping, mechanical, or construction vendors is a strong asset
- Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, PPE, and hardware
- Strong attention to detail and solid Excel skills
- College diploma or skilled trade certificate preferred

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
