Couples, Relationship & Family Therapist (RCC/CCC) – Hybrid Independent Contractor

Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)
Commitment: Minimum 2 days per week

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Couples, Relationship & Family Therapist to join our growing private practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values both the autonomy of private practice and the support of a collaborative team.

About the Role

This is a hybrid independent contractor position requiring a minimum commitment of two days per week.

- One in-office day: Wednesday or Saturday (dependent on office availability)
- One virtual weekday: Your choice
- Evening availability is required.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

- Is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BCACC or Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) in good standing.
- Has a minimum of two (2) years of post-master’s clinical counselling experience.
- Has experience providing therapy to couples and families.
- Is able to practice independently while consistently executing the practice’s policies, procedures, and standards with professionalism and accountability.
- Is comfortable working with diverse populations, including BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
- Practices from a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming perspective.
- Has knowledge of, or experience supporting, individuals with ADHD.
- Values collaboration, ethical practice,



and ongoing professional growth.
- Experience or training in EFT, Gottman Method, ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS, Somatic approaches, or other evidence-based modalities is considered an asset.

Requirements

- Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology or a related field.
- RCC or CCC designation in good standing.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Minimum two (2) years of post-master’s clinical counselling experience.
- Commitment to a minimum of two working days per week.
