Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Production Supervisor who is fluent in Spanish to lead manufacturing operations with enthusiasm and precision. The successful candidate will join our team immediately at our 885 Avonhead Road, Mississauga facility, where they will receive comprehensive training on company policies and procedures, food safety standards, ERP systems (Produce Pro), and watermelon grading and packing line operations.

From July through September each year, the Supervisor will be assigned to our new watermelon packing facility located at 110 Regional Road 60, Walsingham, Norfolk County, Ontario, where they will supervise and coordinate a predominantly Spanish-speaking workforce, ensure safe and effective operations, and support seasonal production activities.

Upon completion of the seasonal Norfolk assignment,



the Supervisor will return to the Mississauga facility and continue supporting year-round warehouse operations. This seasonal rotation between locations will continue annually based on operational requirements.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English and Spanish), possesses strong leadership and communication skills, and has experience supervising employees in a warehouse, produce packing, manufacturing, or food processing environment. Willingness to travel and temporarily relocate to Norfolk County during the watermelon season is required.

Experience

- Proven experience in manufacturing supervision or a similar leadership role within a production environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly processes and equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or other enterprise software; experience with MRP systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and best practices in manufacturing settings.
- Experience working with supply chain management, inventory control, and process optimization strategies.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential to facilitate effective communication.
