We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will be key to ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Process sales transactions through the point-of-sale system, including returns and exchanges.
- Provide product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout area.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and improve customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about current promotions, products, and technology sales to better assist customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with technology sales or technical products is advantageous.
- Ability to perform product demos effectively to educate customers.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
