Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of construction and restoration processes. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements
- Perform restoration work on existing structures to enhance their appearance
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensure proper caulking and sealing of surfaces to prevent damage
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs

Skills





- Proficient in construction painting techniques for both residential and commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of restoration practices and industrial painting methods
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Experience with rigging and carpentry is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently
- Solid communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety protocols in a construction environment
