Carebridge Corporation is seeking dependable and customer-focused Banquet and Event Servers to support weddings, conferences, corporate functions, private celebrations and other hospitality events throughout Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.

This is a casual, event-based employment opportunity. Assignments are offered according to client needs, location, qualifications and your availability. Hours are not guaranteed.

Position Responsibilities

- Set up banquet rooms, dining areas and event spaces.
- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, place settings and service stations.
- Welcome guests and provide courteous, attentive service.
- Serve plated meals, buffet items, beverages and refreshments.
- Clear tables and maintain clean, organized guest areas.
- Refill water, coffee and other beverages as required.
- Follow event timelines, service standards and client instructions.
- Communicate professionally with guests, co-workers and supervisors.
- Assist with event setup, transitions and teardown.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures.
- Report guest concerns, spills, hazards or service issues promptly.
- Support bartenders, catering teams and other event personnel when required.

Requirements

- Previous banquet, event, restaurant, catering or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to safely carry trays, dishes and hospitality supplies.




- Reliable transportation or a dependable method of travelling to assignments.
- Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to meet client-specific uniform and grooming requirements.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working at weddings, banquet halls, hotels or corporate events.
- Smart Serve certification is considered an asset and may be required for assignments involving alcohol service.
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
- Availability for last-minute or short-notice assignments is considered an asset.
- Experience with plated, buffet or formal banquet service is an asset.

- Compensation: $17.60-$24.50 per hour
- Assignments are offered according to client requirements and worker availability.
- No minimum number of hours or assignments is guaranteed.
