Position Details

- Location: GraceMed Don Mills
- Position: Part-Time, Permanent
- Schedule: Flexible part-time hours, including evenings and Saturdays as required.

What you'll do:

- Provide exceptional nursing care while assisting Dermatologists and Physicians with dermatology procedures and minor surgeries.
- Administer local anesthetic as directed by the physician.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures while ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and supported.




- Educate patients on treatment plans, post procedure care, skincare, and sun protection.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Coordinate patient follow up, referrals, pathology reports, and communication of laboratory results.
- Maintain clean, safe, and fully stocked examination and procedure rooms while ensuring compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support the dermatology nursing team, nursing assistants, and scribes.
- Coordinate nursing schedules and ensure appropriate clinical coverage.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching new clinical team members.
- Develop and maintain clinical Standard Operating Procedures while promoting quality improvement initiatives.
- Oversee inventory management, medical supply ordering, and equipment maintenance.
- Foster a collaborative, positive workplace culture focused on delivering an exceptional patient experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success and growth of the clinic.

What you will bring along:

- Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Registered Nurse (RN) designation.
- Current BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification is considered an asset.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or another procedural clinical environment is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Patient Management Systems (PMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate, patient-first approach and a passion for delivering outstanding care.
