Overview

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment to support smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food safety, cleanliness, and teamwork, with experience or interest in the food industry. Responsibilities

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by kitchen staff
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and safe work setting by adhering to food safety protocols
- Help with basic food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed
- Ensure proper storage of all cleaned items and maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen tidy




- Support the overall flow of kitchen operations during busy service times

Skills

- Experience or familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and basic kitchen operations is preferred
- Knowledge of restaurant or food service environments is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist others in the kitchen
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads such as pots or trays
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen environment

Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
